Lick of the Week 2.12.15
This week we are doing unison bends. Unison bends are played on two strings, one string is bent until you reach the same note of the other string, giving it an awesome melodic sound. Here we are walking up the Em scale and taking it out with a Em pentatonic blues scale. Played over an Em-F#-G-Am-Em progression. You can get a great phasing sound with tension and release when you slowly bend the note up to the unison pitch. So play around with this one and have fun!
